Sea Wall and River Light

Seas Wall and River Light is set in the Victorian town of Barwon Heads. Many of the poems celebrate the ever-changing presence of sea and estuary, moods of light and weather, the lives of birds and other creatures. Humans are a part of this natural world – we meet children at play on the beach, tourists and townspeople out sunbathing, fishing or boating. But most often we are in the poet's own company as she walks, swims, attends to the life around her, aspiring to a point of calm within its continuous transformation.
